Jazz > Porn.

Yesterday, I had a chance to be one of the 800 lucky audience to watch Mia Palencia and Roger Wang perform as a duo in the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra’s Spotlight titled Double Take.

Even though I’ve been in that hall numerous time this is the only time I got a picture of it, it’s not exactly a full 1, but it’ll do. =X

And these are the stars of the night (not including me ><, and please excuse the blur picture).

Boy she can sing! And girl he can play!

They performed a few songs by the late King Of Pop, a few originals by themselves and together, and a number of jazzy upbeat songs.

Their performance was awe-orgasmic-some! So good it was better than porn, being able to watch live jazz performed right in front of your eyes for the 1st time is just great.

Great acoustics+great guitars+great player+great singer+great songs+passion all equates to something I can be proud of for being a Malaysian (I think it’s the 1st time I’m saying I’m proud of my country. But it’s okay, there’s always a 1st for everything right?). =X

The tickets were sold out 5 days before the show, thank God I’ve got the on the very last minute ><
